Hospira announces investment in McPherson facility
Hospira Inc. (NYSE: HSP), the world’s leading provider of injectable drugs and infusion technologies, today announced an investment in its McPherson, Kansas, facility that will result in 150 jobs and $120 million in capital improvements at the site during the next five years.

It is also a testament to the dedication of our McPherson employees, the commitment of the community and the appreciated support from the state of Kansas.”
As part of the McPherson investment, Hospira will be completing capital improvement and modernization projects, including expanding capacity, adding automated visual inspection systems and installing additional production lines at the facility.
